Ok, I have to confess. I know I told you in my last post that I would be strong and stick to my guns when eating dinner...and I did...till my sister threw a wrench at me!
I ate a really good dinner. I had Broccoli in a light cheese sauce with some veggie beef-like crumbles. I also made myself an eggwhite-veggie egg foo young kind of thing. It was really good. And guess what? I was actually satisfied!

I am not ordinarily this drawn to potato chips. Don't misunderstand, I do love chips but I don't feel compelled to go buy them very often. But these suckers are different! Thank goodness I cannot get them here on the east coast!!!
But this will not happen, again. I will eat them in portioned, controlled amounts...now that I have gotten the indulgence out of my system ;-)
Having confessed that, I guess something worked as I lost a lb. I have to wonder if it was because I have been upping my protein intake a bit. I tend to be a little low for the amount of exercise I do. I am trying to drink a veggie based protein shake in my coffee every other morning. And don't forget to drink lots of water while exercising and/or losing weight! Really important!
I am now 178.4. 53lbs to go. Sigh, little by little. You know what they say, a journey of a 1000 miles starts with the first step.
